The 16 foot boom offers operators and OEMs the ability to create custom solutions for their customers. While we typically mount lights to our masts, they are used for CCTV and security purposes.

The Larson Electronics LM-16-FM telescoping light mast is designed to provide operators with a safe and easy method of deploying various types of electrical equipment to heights ranging from 9 to 16 feet for better coverage of large areas. This telescoping tower is most popularly used as a light mast for elevating a variety of fixtures at worksites and includes dual 1,000 lbs winches for easier raising and lowering of the assembly. One winch raises the tower to its upright position, and the second winch allows the operator to extend the tower to any height between 9 and 16 feet. The light tower is comprised of two sections, with a lower section 9 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and an upper section 8 feet in length and three inches in diameter. This tower is constructed of heavy gauge steel for high strength and when lowered to 9 feet is capable of withstanding 125 mph winds without failure. These light masts are designed for permanent mounting and are commonly attached to trailers for higher mobility and can also be mounted to stationary surfaces as well using an included 12 inch square, ½ inch thick mounting base-plate which has been pre-drilled to accept four mounting bolts for easier installation. The top of the mast is fitted with a rugged 24 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick mounting plate that allows operators to easily mount a wide variety of light fixtures and equipment. When the tower is no longer needed, the operator can easily lower the mast and fold it over, making it easy to stow and transport between uses. Larson Electronics also offers a wide variety of options and can outfit these towers with LED lights, HID light fixtures, electric winches instead of manual winches, and provide a range of tower alternate heights and mounting options as well. This light tower is ideal for those who commonly work outside on large jobsites or outdoor events and need an easy yet secure way to quickly elevate lighting or equipment to obtain the best coverage of the work area possible.

“The LM-16-FM fixed mount light mast securely elevates equipment up to 16 feet,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics LarsonElectronics.com. “The 16 foot boom offers operators and OEMs the ability to create custom solutions for their customers. While we typically mount lights to our masts, they are used for CCTV and security purposes.”
