The golf courses of the Milwaukee County Parks System have added the laser Link Distance System to seven golf courses. All seven courses will have Laser Link's Classic SmartStick on the golf course, and select golf shops will have rangefinders available for purchase and for rental.

Laser Link Golf, a leader in distance measurement technology and solutions for the golf market, announced today that the company has completed installation of the Laser Link Distance System on seven of the golf courses in the Milwaukee County Parks system. Each of the golf courses will have Laser Link Classic SmartSticks on the golf course, and select golf shops will have rangefinders available for both purchase and rental. The installation includes:

         Brown Deer Golf Course
         Whitnall Golf Course
         Dretzka Golf Course
         Oakwood Golf Course
         Currie Golf Course
         Greenfield Golf Course
         Grant Golf Course

Golf fans know Brown Deer Golf Course as the host of the PGA Tour’s US Bank Championship (formerly the Greater Milwaukee Open) from 1994-2009. Many will also remember this as the course where Tiger Woods made his professional debut, finishing tied for 60th on the short (by PGA Tour standards) but demanding layout.

“We’re extremely excited to be partnered with the Milwaukee County Parks golf courses,” said Dan Steiner, vice president at Laser Link Golf. “It is a terrific organization with a tradition of providing excellent golf experiences for the people of Milwaukee, and we are proud to be included as their newest amenity.”
