The head of one of the largest vision care practices in the area is opening the virtual doors on a brand new website aimed toward helping people understand how technology is dramatically improving common vision problems. Dr. Daniel Durrie, a laser eye surgeon in Kansas City, is known as an innovator and leader in the field of laser vision correction. With his colleague Jason E. Stahl, MD and a team of eye doctors, nurses, and support staff, Dr. Durrie is introducing his comprehensive new site as a way to educate people on the many treatments available to correct vision problems and eye conditions, surgically remove cataracts, and even eliminate the need for eyeglasses and contacts.

The new website allows web visitors of all ages to see the vision problems that can be encountered within each age group, and describes in detail the treatment options available to them. Procedures such as LASIK laser vision correction, PRK, and refractive lens exchange in Kansas City are highlighted, as well as other advanced treatments. The website incorporates a range of web video documentaries and interviews with patients, including Kansas City’s own George Brett, a baseball Hall-of-Famer who had successful LASIK treatment at Durrie Vision.

Developed in collaboration with Rosemont Media™, a LASIK website design firm, Dr. Durrie’s new website incorporates a detailed look at the practice. In addition to being a comprehensive vision care facility, Durrie Vision’s new website also educates web visitors on its position as a prominent ophthalmic research facility. In fact, Dr. Durrie has been part of FDA-approved clinical trials in addition to his own research studies, all in the name of advancing the goal of treating eye conditions and improving one’s vision.

With over 40 pages of information designed to educate those considering eye treatment and introduce them to his practice and the services he offers, Dr. Durrie says he hopes the new website will help people understand that poor vision can often be improved, and treatment is available for an array of eye conditions that can significantly affect one’s way of life.
