GrupoMex Holdings, LLC is proud to be the premiere sponsor the 10th Annual Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival 2006 (LALIFF) in Los Angeles, California, which will conclude Sunday, October 15, 2006. Edward James Olmos will present a "Gabi" Lifetime Achievement Award to Antonio Banderas on behalf of the Creative Artists Agency as a highlight of the evening on Saturday, October 14th at the Egyptian Theatre.
The "Gabi" Lifetime Achievement Award was created in 1997 during the inaugural Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and was bestowed posthumously on the legendary Mexican cinematographer, Gabriel Figueroa. GrupoMex is proud to be a part of LALIFF celebrating the richness and variety of Latino culture by showcasing the latest and newest Latino productions from the US and around the world.
A closing party will be sponsored by Coca-Cola. The Gala Spirits sponsors will include Remy Martin, Casa Noble, and Liquid Ice. Liquid Ice has recently become part of the GrupoMex family of companies.
GrupoMex has launched Gotcha Back Records as one of their labels to market new artists and to coordinate the production and promotion of their music and music videos.

Long View Farm Recording Studios, Inc., an established recording studio of over thirty years, currently managed by Bonnie Milner, has recently joined the GrupoMex family, and together are looking forward to building upon their existing catalog of over 200 platinum records, including those from The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. Labels and bands pay for Longview’s vintage analog sound and big massive sound-mixing consoles.
Baytar Records, an independent record label and entertainment conglomerate focusing on urban music and entertainment has also joined the GrupoMex entertainment family. Baytar Records is currently developing the "Life’s Too Short" project featuring Ronnie McNeir, Theo Peoples, Abdul "Duke" Fakir and Lawrence Peyton (the current members of the legendary Four Tops).
