Lawyer Legion, a division of Internet LAVA, LLC, is proud to announce its participation in the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association's 26th Annual Rusty Duncan Advanced Criminal Law Course as one of the sponsors. The course, a continuing legal education opportunity for criminal defense attorneys in the Lone Star State, will be held June 13-15 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.
The Rusty Duncan Advanced Criminal Law Course is named after a former judge on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals from Denton, Texas, who also served as editor for Voice for the Defense, a TCDLA's 10-times-per-year publication. Duncan also served as chair of the State Bar's Committee on the Study of the Insanity Defense and as co-chair of the State Bar's Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Committee.
The course offers 18 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, including two hours of ethics. See the 2013 Rusty Duncan Agenda for a full list of classes, which include:

The event will also include a welcome reception on June 12 and a golf tournament on June 13 at the Silverhorn Golf Club. The event also includes an awards banquet on June 14, where the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association will recognize outstanding members of the Texas criminal defense bar. In addition, the event will include an invitation-only New Lawyer Luncheon with Speakers, Board, and Past Presidents on June 13. As a sponsor of the luncheon, Jason E. Miller, President of Internet LAVA, will provide a 5-minute presentation to attendees.
