The spreading ecological crisis may be considered a crisis of perception; many persons — indeed whole cultures — seem to have lost their ability to clearly sense the surrounding natural world with any clarity.

This May an upcoming global leadership development series begins by focusing on the Earth and creative solutions to the environmental crisis. Global Bridge Productions launches its leadership development series with the opening event, the Celebrate the Earth Conference, on May 5-6 in Sedona, Arizona. Business, spiritual and political leaders will join together in this first of a year-long series of professional global leadership development events exploring leading-edge approaches to the challenges faced globally today – from cultural conflicts to personal ethical behavioral crises to managing human response to the escalating environmental crisis, and human relations. The series focuses on Three Points of Connection: Earth, Humanity and Universal Wisdom The series will culminate in a Global Leadership Summit in 2008.

These affordable, enjoyable and highly stimulating conferences are designed to be a combination of vacation, retreat and professional development with a new look at our planet, environmental crisis and human relations – a unique and innovative approach developed by Global Bridge Productions to make high-quality skill development, thought leadership and global community-building available to the many who are involved in essential and systematic world change.

The first event centers its focus on celebrating and appreciating our shared base: the Earth , and our physical awareness of our connection through embodiment as it affects the environmental crisis. David Abram, author of Spell of the Sensuous and the main speaker at the Celebrate the Earth conference states, “The spreading ecological crisis may be considered a crisis of perception; many persons — indeed whole cultures — seem to have lost their ability to clearly sense the surrounding natural world with any clarity.”

Guided by recognized leaders in an array of fields concerned with the planet and the environmental crisis, participants will be invited to more deeply explore their human relationship with themselves, each other, Nature, and the human systems within which they strive to evoke change. Participants will be given the opportunity to re-integrate new awareness and insight into their work beyond the event.

Community building and networking will be cornerstones of the event series: current and future business, spiritual and political leaders will maintain connections in this new global community, as well as integrate multicultural perspectives and improved human relations into their daily lives.

“So many of the challenges we are facing on a personal, community, national and global level reflect a world out of balance,” says Lisa Berg, Founder and President of Global Bridge Productions. “Global Bridge Productions has created a series of events that offers innovative, enjoyable and collaborative ways to approach these imperative world issues – practices that help us expand our perspective, regain balance, heal our relationship to the planet and one another and create exciting synergies in this new global community of world change workers.”
