Miracle Method will be exhibiting at the APPA Annual Conference in Denver, July 17 – 19. The APPA is made up of educational facilities management professionals who oversee the facilities at colleges and universities; K12 schools and districts; museums and parks and military installations. Miracle Method will be demonstrating how their surface refinishing process saves money over traditional removal and replacement of bathroom and kitchen surfaces.

In these times of budget cuts, facility managers welcome an alternative to ripping out old tile showers and pans in order to install new ones.

Greeting the over 500 facilities officers, directors and managers at the annual APPA College Facility Conference in Denver, CO July 17 – 19, will be Miracle Method Surface Refinishing. Miracle Method’s growth in providing surface refinishing solutions for colleges and universities has been dramatic since the company began exhibiting at APPA conferences five years ago.

Miracle Method will be demonstrating its latest surface refinishing technology for tile showers, leaking terrazzo shower pans, cultured marble vanities and laminate countertops.

More facility managers are turning to Miracle Method each year as their process costs a fraction of tile, tub and countertop removal and replacement. Not only is the process more affordable, it’s fast. Miracle Method can put a residence hall room back service in 24 - 48 hours vs. weeks when replacement is involved.

The most common residence hall problem facing facility managers is a leaking shower pan. “A year of use in a dorm is like ten years at home,” says Joe Chaparro, former Special Projects Coordinator for Housing, Florida Atlantic University. “Once water seeps under the pan, it can easily damage drywall and floors below. In these times of budget cuts, facility managers welcome an alternative to ripping out old tile showers and pans in order to install new ones.”

Andrew Gorski, whose Miracle Method office recently sealed and refinished 293 showers at Western Michigan University, says, “Once we refinish a shower pan with our proprietary process, the grout will be permanently sealed and never leak again.” Gorski’s crew has also done work at the University of Buffalo and Buffalo State. “Word travels fast among facility managers, and that’s why it’s so important that we exhibit at APPA conferences,” adds Gorski. Among the institutions using Miracle Method’s services are the University of Richmond, William & Mary, St Louis University, Ohio State, UC Davis and Colorado College.

With 125 offices across the US and Canada, Miracle Method can provide its services to virtually any college campus. As an affiliate member of the APPA, Miracle Method not only attends APPA’s national conference, but a number of regional events as well.    To learn more about Miracle Method and to read case studies, log on to http://www.miraclemethod.com/collegehousing, or call 800 444-8827.
