Englishlink Announces New ESL Training Program with Michang, South Korea

Drake Training Systems Limited (DTSL) is proud to announce Michang Corporation as its Korean Partner for Englishlink.

(PRWEB) July 3, 2007 -- DTSL has pioneered an effective and affordable way to learn English as a Second Language (ESL) with native-speaker teachers. The lessons cover all English skills while students benefit from the teacher's accurate and clear pronunciation. Students learn from the comfort of home or office.

The Korean market is undoubtedly ready for Englishlink:
- Korea is one of the world's ESL markets with adult English worth approximately 800 billion Korean Won (86 million USD) annually.
- Korea Telecom will soon release its new 'WiBro' technology, providing 31 million Korean web students with the world's fastest Internet speed.
- Pursuant to Korea's goal of becoming 'e-Korea', the government is offering a rebate for companies and individuals using e-learning.

According to Taek-koo Kim, Managing Director of Michang, "the most popular way to learn English at the moment is through language institutes. Students invest large amounts of money with these institutes, but do not necessarily improve their skills."

The Korean government has recently flagged the need to change the way English is taught, as the current system is not effective. Mr. Kim says "many Korean companies are building online ESL training programs for a quick sale, compromising quality." He continues, "I have no doubt Koreans will love Englishlink, as it is superior to these products in every aspect, particularly quality."

"We are very pleased Michang has decided to work with us", says Lesley Rogan, Vice President Asia-Pacific DTSL. "Having taught English in Korea for 2 years, I understand the love that Koreans have for both learning English from native-speakers and the Internet." Now, with Englishlink, Koreans can incorporate the two. Englishlink will soon be seen as the most effective way to learn English as a second language, as it offers access to a world-respected teaching method and excellent content.
