It’s my sincere hope that the projects and tips people find here will introduce them to new techniques and inspire them to take their sewing to the next level.

New Port Richey, FL (PRWEB) March 27, 2012

Darlene Cahill, sewing expert, decorator, and instructor (as featured on Home Shopping Network) has launched a learning website called http://www.DarleneCahill.com. The site is targeted toward anyone who wants to learn to sew, learn to quilt or learn embroidery in a fun and engaging way.

“It’s my sincere hope that the projects and tips people find here will introduce them to new techniques and inspire them to take their sewing to the next level,” said Cahill, who is also a published author and a spokesexpert for both Singer and Brother Sewing Machines.

Registration on the site is free and members can immediately download four of Darlene’s favorite projects, each with “apprentice” (for beginners who are trying to learn to sew), “beyond the basics”, and “creative expert” levels of instruction. A new project is posted each month.

Also each month, members receive “Darlene’s TOP 10” list of her favorite sewing, quilting, embroidery and craft tips.

Additionally, they’ll see an exclusive interview with a textile artist as well as a calendar for the current on-air schedule of shows on HSN, and other events such as quilting festivals, sewing Expos and anything of interest to quilters, crafters and those who want to learn to sew or improve their sewing skills.

The site also has a premium video learning area called Dar’s Stars! for people who want to learn to sew, learn to quilt and learn embroidery more quickly, no matter their skill level.

There are four different video teaching programs: 1) Seam Stream - Instructional Webinars, 2) Stitch Tech - Sewing Technology, 3) Sew Inquiring - Video Q & A Blog, and 4) Sew What's Up? - Two Minute Instruction Videos, plus 5) Make It Sew - A Sewing Contest. All of the programs are updated monthly.

For more information about the site or to learn to sew, learn to quilt or learn embroidery, visit http://www.DarleneCahill.com.
