I believe the young adults who are actively engaged in working to improve our society and culture seem to embody the optimism and idealism that baby boomers themselves held dear.

Lee Kessler, Jennifer Beckham, and Dr. John Maxwell were among the main stage speakers at the Sherpa Leadership Summit at Freedom Hall, Louisville, KY in October.
“It was an honor to be chosen to speak on the same stage as Ms. Beckham and leadership expert Dr. John Maxwell. I have been an admirer of Dr. Maxwell for many years and have read many of his books. I share his viewpoint that ‘teamwork is at the heart of great achievement,’” said Kessler.
In addition to her acting career and international business acumen, Lee Kessler is known for her popular political fiction novels "White King and the Doctor" and "White King Rising" whose heroes are two Gen Y gamers.
Gen Y’ers crowded the table during her book-signing, thanking her for what she said from stage. Her 30-minute talk reflected the confidence and faith she has in the optimism, creativity and energy of the young people she has met.
“I believe the young adults who are actively engaged in working to improve our society and culture seem to embody the optimism and idealism that baby boomers themselves held dear,” Kessler said.
She went on to say, “Recently online gamers and researchers made the news for deciphering the structure of an enzyme of an AIDS-like virus that has stymied scientists for a decade. I think the ingenuity of game players is a formidable force that, if properly directed, can be used to solve a wide range of scientific problems. In fact, in the third book of the "White King" series, I reveal how our two Gen Y gamers attack the financial problems happening across the globe.”
