Mr. Blenkhorn's extensive experience includes large-scale incident response planning and execution for entities dealing with potential breaches.

After receiving a Private Detective Agency License for the state of Michigan in the third quarter of 2009, consulting firm Jones Dykstra & Associates experienced an increase in business from what they're calling "a severely under-served market." With more and more clients emerging from Michigan and the greater Midwest, Keith Jones, Senior Partner at JD&A and Michigan resident of twenty-nine years, made the move to bolster JD&A with an MI-based consultant.

“It just made sense to add Sean to our team,” Mr. Jones comments. “With his experience in data security, hacker remediation, and regulatory compliance, he’s a valuable resource and point of contact for those in the Michigan area who are dealing with these technical issues. We’re very excited to be working with him.”

Sean L. Blenkhorn brings more than a decade of IT management and security experience to the JD&A team. As a security and compliance expert, Mr. Blenkhorn has worked with Fortune 500 organizations across North America in implementing solutions to secure sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, PCI and GLBA.

As an expert in data loss prevention (DLP), Mr. Blenkhorn has assessed and secured sensitive information in enterprises including banking, healthcare, and manufacturing. His extensive experience also includes large-scale incident response planning and execution for enterprise and government entities dealing with potential breaches.

“Over my years of working in the security field, I have helped organizations of all sizes secure their information and ensure they are meeting the growing demands of regulatory compliance,” explains Mr. Blenkhorn. “Having read Keith Jones’ book, Real Digital Forensics, I have a great deal of respect for he and his team’s depth and breadth of experience. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to bring my experience as a proactive security and compliance practitioner to such a talented team of e-discovery, incident response, and computer forensic experts.”

“If your organization is based in Michigan or the greater Midwest,” Mr. Jones begins, “We’d love for you to get in touch with Sean. Having someone local to you, especially someone with experience like Mr. Blenkhorn’s, is invaluable in a time of crisis. I urge you to call us for your next engagement; as a long-time resident of Michigan myself, I know that JD&A understands the issues and regulations that Michigan organizations face every day, and we’d be happy to provide you with the outstanding service for which we’re known.”
