Cenero, a service-focused audio visual and conferencing solutions company, has been hired by the legal services firm Fox Rothschild, to design and implement an Audio Visual and Conferencing solution that is guaranteed to work on time every time.

To make sure that Fox Rothchilds’ audio visual conferencing system suffers no down time, Cenero is deploying Constant Connect, a managed service that continuously monitors the health of the firm’s a/v equipment.

“The conference room at Fox Rothschild is heavily integrated with state of the art components such as a video conferencing, audio conferencing and a large 102 inch plasma television. With so much money invested into the room, we can’t afford for it to be down,” says Donald Flaherty, Director of Telecommunications at Fox Rothschild. “Constant Connect acts as a life insurance policy. The audio visual conference room, located in Fox Rothchild’s Philadelphia office is at the heart of that office’s revenue generating initiatives. Attorneys use the system to conduct depositions and host meetings with clients as well as take Continuous Legal Education (CLE) courses.

“If you have 30 attorneys in the room to take the CLE and the course doesn’t go smoothly, then you have wasted a lot of time and billable hours. On top of that, the course needs to be rescheduled,” says Flaherty.

The Constant Connect monitoring service includes three key elements:

  •     Proactive - All A/V systems are tested and calibrated every night to ensure all moving parts are working the following day. Constant Connect generates nightly maintenance reports that give administrators the status of the various parts of the system.
  •     Reactive - In the event that the system does have a glitch during the presentation, Constant Connect links the end user instantly to a dedicated engineering call center.
  •     Reporting – All system and usage information gathered can be aggregated and queried to allow for better decision making with regards to upgrades and additions of other A/V and Conferencing resources.
