The Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel, Leicester Square, now offers visitors to its website some of the city's best views, not only of the red carpet and celebrities, but also of Big Ben, Nelson's Column, The London Eye, the Capital Radio building and Leicester Square Park.
London, UK (PRWEB) June 29, 2007 -- Celebrity spotters and those who like all the glitz and glam of a movie premiere but don't like the crowds can now have an exclusive bird's eye view of Leicester Square's famous Odeon cinema red carpet thanks to a new 'eye in the sky' webcam installed on the roof of the 5-star luxury Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel.
The Hampshire Hotel, on Leicester Square, now offers visitors to its website some of the city's best views, not only of the red carpet but also of Big Ben, Nelson's Column, The London Eye, the Capital Radio building and Leicester Square Park.
The webcam provides a series of live images as well as snapshots from the previous 24 hours and allows potential guests from around the UK and abroad to have a taste of what it's like to stay in the heart of London. They can also use the webcam to check what the weather's like so that they can plan what to pack for their holiday to the capital.
The Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel has recently experienced a £3m refurbishment which has given the hotel a fresh, new chic feel. The ground floor has been opened up and all double aspect windows have been changed to allow people to see in and out. There's also a new 'Al Fresco' area off The Hampshire Bar and Restaurant, which is the perfect settling to people-watch.
The hotel's 127 bedrooms have also been upgraded and are richly decorated with original artwork, faux silk wall coverings, Bang & Olufsen flat screen televisions and marble bathrooms. The hotel's 23 suites offer guests panoramic views of the capital, and three bedrooms and one junior suite (with disabled facilities) have been added on the first floor.
The Hampshire Bar and Restaurant now features an extended bar and serves seasonal, modern British cuisine. On the lower level, a new business centre, fitness centre and meeting facilities have been added and a new private screening room will also shortly be completed which will have capacity for 45.
