The Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival is a great addition to our TNT lineup.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2013
Team In Training (TNT) has added new events to its summer lineup. The Pacific Crest Marathon and the Pacific Crest Triathlon will be a part of the TNT summer event roster. As a result, for the first time, both TNT marathon and triathlon teams will share an event weekend. This will give family members, groups, and teams the opportunity to take on different endurance challenges, while still enjoying and reveling in the exhilaration of race day together as a team.
With both events taking place on the same weekend, teams and their family members can share in the event together and cheer each other on, fostering a greater sense of team accomplishment in both training and fundraising. Team In Training Director Lindsay Ring explains, “The Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival is a great addition to our TNT lineup. It offers a host of endurance event options for Team In Training participants: there’s a half and full marathon, a duathlon, an Olympic distance triathlon and a Half Ironman triathlon. We are also really excited that it marks the first time we will have two sports traveling to one event, so it will be a ‘TNT family’ weekend.”
Both the Pacific Crest Marathon and Triathlon will take place in beautiful Sun River, Oregon. The Pacific Crest Marathon will be held on June 29, 2013 and the Pacific Crest Triathlon on June 30, 2013. Training for both events will kick off January 26, 2013.
