London, UK (PRWEB) March 5, 2008 -- LPI Level Platforms Inc, the global leader in the market for remote monitoring and management software, today announced the general availability of a UK-based hosted service, immediately providing IT Solution Providers with access to Level Platforms award winning Managed Workplace® technology in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.

Hosted partners also receive the same access to training, dedicated business and technical support, that all existing Level Platforms partners have relied on to build their successful service offerings, now with European-based support.
With over 2,500 solution provider partners in 29 countries using Level Platforms Managed Workplace software, the hosted offering allows IT solution providers to immediately optimise their technical resources and provide superior customer service, resulting in improved revenues and profitability.

Building on their solid foundation with hosted partners in North America, including Ingram Micro and Do IT Smarter, data-centre-capable service providers can install and configure the hosted platform to allow for the provisioning of virtual dashboards for UK and European-based IT solution providers. The hosted version is fully multi-tenant and scalable with access to a comprehensive suite of features and functionality without the need to purchase costly add-on modules.

"Through experience we fully understand the costs and effort required to build out a Network Operations Center (NOC) on top of the creation and selling of managed services," states Eamonn Fogerty, Managing Director of Brookland Computer Services, Level Platforms' first UK based hosting partner, "IT solution providers can now access a virtual service with the advantage of local support, which significantly reduces a service provider's initial outlay for technology allowing for faster ROI on their investment."

"Our hosted platform provides immense value to European IT solution providers," said Peter Sandiford, CEO Level Platforms, "by allowing them to skip over the heavy lifting that many North American resellers have gone through to get into managed services. The hosted version contains all of the same rich features as our on-premise solution, but with reduced requirements on a technical engineer's time and easier on the pocket book." Peter Sandiford continues, "Hosted partners also receive the same access to training, dedicated business and technical support, that all existing Level Platforms partners have relied on to build their successful service offerings, now with European-based support."

The hosted service will be fully capable of leveraging Level Platforms extensive work with alliance vendors, with the virtual dashboard being able to monitor over 150 application, device or operating system templates already in use. The virtual service will also be fully capable of supporting Intel vPro chip set, providing Intel partners with an ease of entry into managed services for their SMB customers, based around the capabilities of the vPro technology.
