Enterprise Lighting Sales Expo Kick’s off this Week

This week, the Enterprise Lighting Sales Expo will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, November 14-15

This week, the Enterprise Lighting Sales Expo will feature more than 25 leading manufacturers from the area to share and showcase their newest designs in lighting as well as complimentary educational seminars prior to the exhibition, each morning.

Enterprise Lighting Sales (ELS) is a sales agency that represents “manufacturers of premium architectural, commercial, industrial and residential lighting equipment.” According to enterels.com, ELS was founded in 1993 by Frank Conti and have become a fundamental and central agency operating in the New York and Jew Jersey communities; ELS is hosting this biannual expo for those interested or associated with the lighting industry as well as a means to display upcoming products from the manufacturers they represent.

Tech Lighting will be among the exhibiting manufacturers and will be showing their latest lighting products and could be displaying their new line of SoCo pendants that were introduced at the June 2012 Dallas International Lighting Market; SoCo is a collection of pendants that “celebrate the lamp in its simplest for [and] delivers extreme flexibility and the power of custom design,” according to techlighting.com.

Other manufacturers that will be exhibiting at the ELS Expo is Sea Gull Lighting, Q-Tran Inc., Nulux, various Cooper Lighting brands, Cathode Lighting Systems, Alico Lighting, CSL Lighting and so much more.

Aside from the lighting exhibits of more than 25 of the thriving manufacturer’s ELS represents, the expo will also be host to a myriad of educational seminars, aimed to assist in understanding the uses of lighting in architecture.

According to enterels.com, each seminar will be presented by qualified lighting professionals and carry AIA certification for CEU credits.

Rebecca Hadley, sponsor from Cooper Lighting and manager of the SOURCE Cooper Lighting Center, will be speaking during one of Thursday morning’s seminar slots will be focusing the tutorial discussion on “Light Color and Vision.” The seminar will focus on humans’ use of light as a means of completing and aiding in daily activities as well as how lights affect the human psychological and physiological well being.

According to eterels.com, “This presentation will discuss the impact of light and also how the appearance and color rendering aspects which are used to describe traditional sources may need to be expanded for solid state lighting today.”

This year’s ELS Expo is sure to be an impressive one, as the exhibitors are expected to come with wide selections and displays of the latest products in the lighting industry and the educational seminars are set to teach and encourage the appreciation of how important certain aspects of lighting and technology are today.

Of course, throughout the two-day exhibition, cocktails, hors d’oevres and buffet will be available to guests as well as the “ELS After Hours” affair on November 14th from 8pm-10pm; cocktails and desserts will be served while guests can connect and meet with fellow associates in the industry. The trade show exhibition hours will be 11am-8pm on November 14 and 11am-7pm on November 15 and the educational seminars begin each morning from 9:30am-11am.
