It’s not surprising the organisation has been handpicked for the shortlist of the Fast Growth 50 award which is presented by leading Welsh newspaper, the Western Mail and in association with the University of Wales.
Cardiff, South Glamorgan, South Wales (PRWEB UK) 22 July 2011
High flying Cardiff based limo hire company, Limo Broker, has been recognised for its runaway success over the course of the last few years with a nomination for the highly coveted Welsh business award, Fast Growth 50.
The annual awards are now in their 13th year with this year’s winner due to be crowed at a glitzy awards ceremony and gala dinner at the prestigious Holland House Hotel in Cardiff on September 16th. The award seeks to recognise and applaud the fastest growing Welsh companies with fifty of the highest achievers being included in the shortlist for the sought after trophy.
Since its launch in 2005, Limo Broker has grown from strength to strength, starting out as a small regional transport provider before becoming a national operator with hundreds of company websites and a network of approved chauffeurs and limo hire agents working under the Limo Broker brand throughout the UK.
As the credit crunch began to bite and many rivals began to buckle under the strain, Limo Broker bucked the trend and flourished in the face of adversity by actually expanding its workforce, buying out competitors, and increasing its revenue during the hardest-hit times of the recession.
One area where Limo Broker continues to succeed is in its online marketing. Unlike other limo hire and luxury transport providers, Limo Broker concentrates its efforts on promoting itself through online advertising utilising the growing phenomenon of social media to self publicise, and also launching its own news website publishing industry related articles.
With a growing workforce and ever expanding network of limousine hire agents working in association with the company, Limo Broker decided to set up its own annual awards ceremony to highlight the achievements of its best performing employees and limo hire operators. Known as the Transport Broker Awards, the ceremony is held annually in Cardiff, where the company head quarters is based, and staff members and limo hire agents receive awards based on their performances over the course of the previous 12 months.
Given Limo Broker’s unbridled success over the last few years, it’s not surprising the organisation has been handpicked for the shortlist of the Fast Growth 50 award which is presented by leading Welsh newspaper, the Western Mail and in association with the University of Wales.
Fast Growth 50 has become one of the most recognisable business awards within Wales, showcasing the highest achieving businesses which have displayed superior levels of enterprise and entrepreneurship in recent years. Limo Broker is delighted to have been included in this year’s shortlist for the prestigious award. The winner of the Fast Growth 50 award will be announced in Cardiff on September 16th.
