We are committed to making life easier for the .NET developers who want to connect disparate applications and systems
Hollywood, FL (Vocus) March 30, 2010
Linxter, provider of message-oriented cloud middleware, today announced that it has been selected to join the Microsoft BizSpark One Program. In November 2008, Microsoft BizSpark was launched as a global program offering software, support and visibility to early stage startups. Microsoft BizSpark One is the latest expansion of the BizSpark program. This unique invitation-only program is designed to accelerate the growth of selected high potential startups through a one-to-one relationship with Microsoft and a global community of advisors, investors, and peers.
Bringing message-oriented middleware to the cloud allows developers to connect distributed applications and systems without any infrastructure or specialized coding. Using the Microsoft .NET skills they already possess, developers can reap the benefits of middleware previously limited to a small group of experts. The technical barriers to securely and reliably linking disparate programs – message polling, transactional queues, X.509 message encryption, authentication and authorization, internet connection retries, non-repudiation, and file chunking – are bundled up and automated within the Linxter platform.
“We are committed to making life easier for the .NET developers who want to connect disparate applications and systems,” said Jason Milgram, Linxter CEO. “And now, the BizSpark One Program will make it even easier for us to meet that commitment.”
A true cloud solution, complexity is not just moved off of customers’ servers and hosted elsewhere — it is eliminated. Linxter was designed specifically for the cloud. All of the communication plumbing is provided in an easy-to-use configurable environment that gives customers’ granular control over how their programs interconnect and interact.
Microsoft is committed to serving as a valuable technology and business partner for emerging startups and their investors. BizSpark One pairs each startup with a dedicated relationship manager at Microsoft who works with the startup to identify its unique opportunities and build a tailored plan to promote the startup’s visibility, expand its network of investors and mentors, expose it to business opportunities, and develop cutting edge applications.
“Developers will be impressed by the simplicity Linxter brings to the cloud,” said Matthew Clark, senior director, Strategic and Emerging business development, Microsoft Corp. “We are delighted to welcome them into the BizSpark One program and look forward to working with them to bring even greater benefits to the developer community.”
