Rosen, Rosen & Hagood, LLC, which is based in Charleston, South Carolina, is proud to announce that the South Carolina (SC) Bar’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Star of the Quarter was presented to Britt Kelly at the annual YLD retreat. The award recognizes Mr. Kelly’s contributions, support, and dedication to the SC Bar YLD during the 2010–2011 fiscal year and his role in the YLD’s SC Bar Convention 2011 Continuing Legal Education and networking event for young lawyers.
“Our committee of approximately 30 young lawyers worked collaboratively to make the 2011 Bar Convention a success and I am truly honored to have been recognized for my contributions,” Kelly said. “The entire committee deserves credit for their commitment and participation, and for the valuable work they do for our community.”
Mr. Kelly has been an associate with Rosen, Rosen, and Hagood, LLC since 2005 and focuses on construction litigation, commercial and business litigation, and personal injury cases. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of the South (Sewanee) in 2001, where he was a double major in Political Science and Spanish. In May 2005, Britt graduated second in his class from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis.
The Young Lawyers Division is a professional service and community organization of the South Carolina Bar that helps young lawyers to meet their public service goals.
