The Empower Program is designed to help Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) succeed in developing their product. According to Microsoft "The program serves as an 'on ramp' for ISVs to help them accelerate the development and delivery of new applications to market."

In addition, the powerful and new CaseRev reporting system is based on the Reporting Services functionality that is provided with SQL Server 2005," Eveland added.
