New computer software from Massload Technologies connects load cells to USB ports to create a high resolution digital weighing scale. Users will no longer have the need for high cost digital readouts in weighing applications.
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (PRWEB) November 21, 2006 -- Massload Technologies has developed innovative computer software allowing its users to connect to any load cell or load cells, plug into the USB port of a computer and instantly have a high resolution, low cost digital scale at their fingertips.
Massload Technologies ScaleScope software uses a regular digital indicator type display, having all of the functions of standard weight displays. It is used for high speed data capture and display from any strain gauge sensor, including load cells and pressure transducers. This computer software is perfect for users with more than one computer scale. It is capable of displaying output from up to eight scales on a scrolling graph. The user then can export that information to an MS Excel or text file for easy usability.
ScaleScope captures and displays data from any strain gauge based sensor, including load cells, pressure transducers, and more. ScaleScope also gathers data from either Massload's LCIB USB interface device.
ScaleScope consists of many parts, including a regular digital indicator type display that has all the functions of standard weight displays, a high-speed data-capturing module, a multi-channel display for users with more than one scale (supports up to 8 scales), and a scrolling graph that shows the output over time of any channel.
ScaleScope has been designed to offer many of the features that high-end digital weight indicators have. These include a ticket editor that allows the user to make custom designed tickets, support for a remote display using a standard rs-232 protocol, up to 6 user definable setpoints that allow the sending of rs-232 characters when the setpoints are reached, counting scale module with an unlimited amount of parts, simple USB driver and software installation, and many other features.
