Local Surrey movers, Crescent Moving and Storage has partnered with Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization that works with relocation companies across North America to collect non-perishable food items from people moving to a new home and deliver it to local food banks. Through their ‘Move For Hunger’ campaign, Crescent Moving and Storage is offering a 10% discount to their customers that participate by donating items from their pantries.
This is the first year Crescent Moving and Storage has participated in the Move For Hunger campaign. They join over 380 other moving companies in 44 US states and 4 Canadian Provinces who are united in the fight against hunger. Since 2009 Move For Hunger has donated more than 800,000 pounds of food.
