“This promotion is about getting interactive with our customers. We always have an ear out to them, and this is just another way to let them tell us what they like and want to see more of,” says King.

Local Hem has given shoppers incentive to share. The online boutiques retailer recently launched an online campaign that allows users to “Pick, Share, and Save”. The promotion is simple: shoppers pick an item they like off of Local Hem, share it through Facebook or Twitter (by tagging @LocalHem), and then receive a promotion code for $10 off their next purchase. This credit is good on any order totaling $100 or more, and can be used at any of their online boutiques.
Colleen King, founder and CEO of Local Hem, hopes this campaign will increase awareness of their online boutiques as well as renew their perspective on their customers’ tastes. “This promotion is about getting interactive with our customers. We always have an ear out to them, and this is just another way to let them tell us what they like and want to see more of,” says King.
The promotion began on July 25, 2012 and will run through August 16th, 2012.
