Glenview, IL (Vocus) September 28, 2010
The role of technology in the translation industry is evolving rapidly and the need for clients, linguists and language service providers to collaborate in a seamless and transparent way is now a requirement. Language service providers must now elevate their offerings to include centrally managed review and approval, automatic tracking of who is creating and modifying content, specific budget information as well as balancing all of the demands of industry regulations.
Peter Argondizzo, Founder and Operations Manager at Argo Translation will participate in a round table at Localization World in Seattle on October 6, 2010. Localization World is know as “the conference for global business know-how” and there will be programs on business best practices, global websites, localization and translation. Localization World brings together both vendors and clients in a focused setting.
Argondizzo will be discussing how language service providers can implement Across Language Server technology into their workflow. The roundtable discussion is aimed at language service providers and clients that are interested in implementing the technology for process improvement. The roundtable will offer a glimpse into the future business models of language serice providers by covering topics such as crowdsourcing and distributed workflows.
