Polaroid®TM Flat Panel Displays Will Support LodgeNet SIGNETURE HDTVSM Platforms Adoption of Pro:IdiomTM Content Security Technology To Enable Delivery Of High-Definition Satellite and Video-On-Demand Entertainment To Guest Rooms.

Petters Hospitality has also adopted Pro:IdiomTM content security technology that will enable LodgeNet served hotels with Polaroid flat panel screens to display Pro:IdiomTM protected HD premium satellite and VOD entertainment.

The industry standard for premium content copy protection, Pro:IdiomTM utilizes the 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and supports digital video and data formats recognized by the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC). Pro:IdiomTM protects satellite delivered programming and video-on-demand content against piracy at every point in the distribution chain to the TV display.
