Loews Hotels Puts the Sizzle in Summer with New Brand-Wide "Summerfest" Promotion

We created Summerfest to do just that. Every aspect of this program is designed to surprise and delight our guests with experiences that enhance their stay and spark engaging interaction among family members.

This summer, Loews Hotels introduces Summerfest, a brand-wide promotion that revs up summer fun with special stay credits of up to $100 (good toward dining, spa and even mini-bar raids, depending on the property) as well as special new activities that highlight each destination's uniquely local experiences.

From dive in movies poolside to afternoon lemonade in the lobby, poolside pampering, resort sunset ceremonies and value-priced family-style menus showcasing regional cuisine, the Summerfest promotion makes summer travel more memorable and affordable than ever. Offered June 1 – Sept 30, Summerfest is available at all 18 Loews hotels and resorts in the U.S. and Canada.

Other fun components of Loews' Summerfest promotion include enhancements to the Loews Loves Kids program, including new, complimentary T-Loews music download cards for teens at check-in and new, on-loan Fisher Price Smart Bounce & Spin Ponys™, which afford the tiniest Loews guests, infants aged 12-to-36 months, an in-room interactive play and learning experience.

Stay Credits of up to $100 from Coast to Coast
Loews Hotels and resorts offer credits ranging from $50 to $100 on stays of between two and four nights; amount and minimum stay vary by property. Depending on the property, the stay credit can be used toward dining, room service, spa charges and mini-bar. For example, at Loews Coronado Bay, guests who stay four nights receive a $100 stay credit good toward dining in the Market Café, Mistral and RRR's Market, as well as soothing treatments in the Sea Spa.

From Our Family to Yours – Dining with a Twist
The company's value-priced Summerfest Family Dining shines the spotlight on the culinary styles of seven Loews resorts from California to Florida. Loews Hotels honors the traditional family dinner where generations sit around a table, conversing and bonding. A different family favorite menu item is offered each day of the week, from Loews Portofino Bay's Spaghetti and Meatballs to the Sizzling Chicken Taco Bar at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, all served family style.

Resort Experiences
At Loews' resort properties, the summertime focal point is poolside with an array of activities and experiences that introduce a new level of luxury. Elements of the new program include:

  • Poolside Experience – Pool concierges deliver the ultimate luxury pool experience, with pampering treats and services throughout the day, such as frozen grape kabobs, Italian ices, smoothies, scented chilled hand towels and cooling cucumber slices, all complimentary. In addition, exotic frozen drinks and a full menu of summertime favorites, including burgers, salads and sandwiches, can be delivered directly to guests' poolside lounge chair.
  • Dive In Movies: At sunset, complimentary family movies are shown on one weekend night at all Loews resorts.
  • Resort Sunset Ceremonies: A new ritual at Loews resorts, resort sunset ceremonies showcase a distinctive cultural aspect of the destination, bringing the individual property's uniquely local elements to life. At Loews Ventana Canyon Resort's "Sonoran Sunset Experience," a family or child is invited each evening to flip a switch to officially "light" the giant saguaro, a towering 150-year-old cactus, which sits just outside the main lobby and glows when lit against the dark Tucson skies. During the ceremony, a resort team member tells the Pima Indian legend of how saguaros came to the Sanoran Desert.

Lobby Libations
At every Loews hotel, arriving guests will be greeted with a taste of summer in the form of a refreshing glass of complimentary lemonade. Some Loews properties will embellish their lemonade to introduce a uniquely local flavor.

Loews Loves Kids
Loews Hotels' award-winning Loews Loves Kids program, a multi-faceted initiative addressing the practical and playful aspects of traveling with children and teenagers, continues to get better and better. One of the industry's most comprehensive family programs, Loews Loves Kids features everything from gift bags on arrival, a Kid Kloset (a go-to spot filled with practical and playful travel necessities, such as games, books, car seats, strollers, night lights, potty seats, baby bath tub, baby blankets, and outlet protectors), to trans-fat-free children's menus.

This summer, Loews continues its partnership with Fisher-Price, introducing the new Smart Bounce & Spin Pony™ at all properties chain-wide. The on-loan pony, a classic playground-themed ride for infants aged 12-to-36 months, is the newest innovation from Fisher-Price. The pony connects wirelessly to the guest room flat-screen television, offering little travelers three levels of interactive play and five learning scenes. The pony joins a corral of Fisher-Price-branded toys and games that are available on loan in Loews' guest rooms, lobbies and restaurants.

For older children, Loews offers new T-Loews music download cards and new Edu-cations programs at selected properties, which feature a variety of exclusive and enriching experiences for teenagers.
