Big Foot Manufacturing, a manufacturer of quality log and timber homes, and CNW Log Homes of America, a marketing company in the U.S., are now together under one name, Big Foot Log & Timber Homes.
According to Wayne Brown, the Senior V.P-Sales/Operations for Big Foot, “This merger brings everything together for a more cohesive approach to Big Foot’s overall corporate strategy: top quality homes, great value and outstanding service for our customers. Added to that our company is now focusing on Douglas Fir which we feel is a far superior option to the traditional Spruce Pine mix in both appearance and strength.”

At one time, CNW was responsible for marketing Big Foot’s products in the lower 48 States and the marketing for international sales was managed by Big Foot. Now, all production marketing, sales, dealer recruitment, dealer training and overseas distributor recruitment will be under the one banner, Big Foot Log & Timber Homes. Bringing together a manufacturer with a proven history of delivering over 5000 quality homes since its inception in 1995 and a marketing arm with many years of dealer and sales experience under a unified name is a definite plus. Customers will have the security of knowing they are dealing with a product that has a proven sales record and a high level of quality as well as a sales team with decades of combined customer service.
The former CNW staff will still be responsible for the marketing and sales activities in the U.S. under the direction of Big Foot. Ron Nicolson, V.P. of Sales and Dealer Management will focus on Dealer recruitment, training and overseeing sales while Pam Nicolson, Marketing and Public Relations will be tasked with focusing on branding Big Foot Log & Timber Homes throughout the U.S. Wayne Brown will be overseeing all Marketing, Sales and Dealer/Distributor recruitment for Big Foot.
Up until recently the majority of the company’s focus has been on recruiting Dealers for North America, but now there will also be an emphasis on International distribution.
