Logicalis Receives SAS 70 Type II Audit Certification
Rigorous Certification Removes Requirement for Managed Services Customers to Conduct Independent Technology Audits

This removes a significant auditing burden from Logicalis' managed services customers who are now no longer required to conduct their own technology process audits for those technologies managed by Logicalis such as databases, email and storage systems.
One such customer is Cosi, Inc. The most rigorous of these certifications is the SAS 70 Type II for Service Organizations, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). By passing this significant audit, Logicalis has demonstrated that it possesses the internal controls necessary to impact financial reporting for its clients.
The intensive SAS audit was conducted at the Logicalis Enterprise Business Operations Center (EBOC) in Cincinnati. SAS 70 Type II is an in-depth audit of a service organization's control objectives and activities, including controls over information technology and related processes. An auditor's unqualified or "clean" opinion indicates that there were no exceptions noted during the audit and that the organization has established effectively designated control objectives and activities.
