Logicalis Consolidation & Virtualization Technical Consultant Steve Pelletier and Oneida Nation Systems Analyst Bob Bachhuber will discuss the transformation of an IT infrastructure comprising more than 70 standalone servers at two data centers located six miles apart serving the diverse needs of the Oneida Nation (including a major casino). The presentation will detail how a pool of resources using VMWare resulted in a tremendous increase in hardware utilization and scalability, as well as dramatically-improved availability, failover and redundancy capabilities and provided a solid foundation for future continuity and disaster recovery planning.
The Oneida Nation of WI, located near Green Bay, WI, is one of the largest employers in northeastern Wisconsin with over 3,000 employees.
