Lombardi Customers to Highlight Best Practices at Independent Research Firm's Technology Leadership Forum 2007: Leading Companies to Share BPM Successes and Lessons Learned

The two day event will be held on September 25 - 26, 2007 at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, CA. The theme of the conference is to "design for people, build for change."     Forrester's Technology Leadership Forum 2007 explores the convergence of Information Workplace technologies, an increasingly process-centric enterprise, and technologies and tactics to give life to the promise of Web services and to enable new ways of assembling both business processes and software. Attendees will learn how to capitalize on these trends and more quickly automate and continuously adjust to the real world.

Mr. Rich Phillips, COO at Maritz Travel, a $1B travel services provider and Lombardi customer, has been selected by Forrester to share his company's experiences with BPM. Mr. Phillips will present an end-user keynote session entitled "Creating Consistency And Customer Value Through IT," on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. PST. During the session, Mr. Phillips will discuss how Maritz applies business process management to the principle of "design for people, build for change," lessons learned for applying IT to processes that span from the "back-office" to the customer, and how IT and the rest of the business must work together on such key initiatives.

Additionally, Lombardi customer Mr. David Knapp, principal architect at Ford Motor Company, has been selected to discuss his BPM experiences during the conference as well. Mr. Knapp will participate on an end-user panel session entitled "Automating Business Processes: What's Real, What's Potential?" on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 3:45 - 4:30 p.m. PST. Knapp and other panelists will discuss real-world insight on the opportunities that led them to consider new business processes, how to deploy BPM software and the change management that's required, and how the role of BPM will expand inside and outside of their organizations.
