Reggae lovers across the London nightlife scene are looking forward to the opportunity to see a Jamaican music legend live in concert on Tuesday 25th June at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire with special guest Natty.
Jimmy Cliff has lived in the hearts of a nation since setting the ska scene alight with early hits such as ‘King of Kings’, ‘One Eyed Jacks’, ‘Pride & Passion’, but in 1968 his first album ‘Hard Road’ became an international breakthrough with singles like ‘Wonderful World, Beautiful People’, and ‘Wild World’.
Writing ‘You Can Get It if You Really Want’ sent Desmond Dekker to number one and opened doors to his involvement with the ‘The Harder They come’ soundtrack released in 1975 which was played at parties across many London nightclubs. Signing with Columbia Records, recording with Kool and the Gang, and touring with Peter Tosh in the 80’s pushed the star to worldwide status.
His rebellious character Ivan in the classic movie ‘The Harder The Come’ is worshipped across the globe along with his music and demand for his live show. His 2012 album ‘Rebirth’ has kept Cliff touring and UK fans across the night clubs in London are looking forward to the reggae legend visiting cities such as: O2 ABC, Glasgow on Sunday 23rd June, and Sheffield Plug Monday 24th June.
Get tickets for his Shepherd’s Bush Empire gig priced £30.25 and hear anthems such ‘Many Rivers To Cross’, I Can See Cleary Now’ and many more.

About London Groove
Launched in March 2004, London Groove was set up to provide a guest list service for London clubs and for people who wanted to go clubbing in the West End so they could sign up on the guest lists for their chosen club nights in the West End.
Initially catering to a range of London R&B clubs and providing a London clubs listing service, London Groove then focused on hosting its own club night in the West End every Saturday from which Soul Saturdays was born. London Groove steadily grew and has since worked with many night clubs in London and expanded their music policy at their club nights to include Funky House, 90’s Old Skool, Party Anthems and Club Classics.
"We aim to give our customer our help, support and value for money when booking a guest list, table or area and partying with us at any of our club nights. We pride ourselves on professionalism and customer satisfaction with our endless list of clients ranging from blue chip companies to small businesses to individual guests, not to mention some of the best nightclubs in London," says Steve Prashad, Director and founder of London Groove.
