The Tea Spot is exhibiting in the World Tea Expo at the Las Vegas, Nevada, Convention Center June 1 – 3, 2012 (Booth #505). The World Tea Expo is the tea industry’s flagship conference, expected to attract over 5,000 attendees from around the world. The Tea Spot will be one of approximately 200 industry exhibitors at the expo, presenting its handcrafted loose tea and Steepware® products, as well as the Brewlux®, which The Tea Spot distributes in the U.S.
For the second year in a row The Tea Spot is receiving the “Best New Product” award in the innovation category at the World Tea Expo for their newest Steepware® product. This year’s product, ‘Steep & Go’, is a cold tea infuser that makes fresh cold brewed tea on-the-go. Designed for the health-conscious person, ‘Steep & Go’ cold brews tea in roughly 10 minutes without sweeteners, additives, or preservatives. ‘Steep & Go’ pairs with disposable water bottles to combine the convenience and clean taste of bottled water with the benefits of fresh brewed whole leaf tea. The product has a suggested retail price of $6.95.
The Tea Spot’s previous product winner of the “Best New Product” Innovation award, Brewlux®, is available for sale this year at the expo. Brewlux® is the premium alternative to the teabag for to-go loose leaf tea. It offers the fastest loose tea delivery to the consumer and the easiest process for the barista. This structured tea filter fits standard to-go cups and lids and allows tea leaves ample room to expand to their full flavor and aroma potential. Made in Colorado with annually renewable plants, Brewlux® is recyclable, sustainable, and U.S. patent-pending.
Maria Uspenski, CEO at The Tea Spot, and Bo Olson, Sales Director, will be featured speakers in the core conference series of the 2012 World Tea Expo. Their session, titled “Doing Well by Doing Good in the Premium Tea Industry”, will be presented Saturday, June 2, 2012, where they’ll discuss the evolution of the premium tea industry and the opportunities for making tea businesses socially sustainable. In addition, The Tea Spot is a “Tea Break” sponsor at this year’s conference, and will serve their loose leaf teas made in the Brewlux® to conference attendees on Sunday, June 3.
