Yorkshire Publishing has released an amazing story, The Fear of the Lord is Wisdom, about the traumatic events that led to the divine intervention and conversion of the author’s life who didn’t know his Heavenly Father. When problems arose in his life, he began looking for answers when he came across the Bible, primarily Proverbs, and fell in love with the true words of wisdom found within. This story shows that God’s hand is on our lives through thick and thin, even when we don’t care about or know Him

From the book: “It was a Sunday morning and my first call was a domestic dispute. I arrived at the scene with my partner in a separate car. We picked up the victim and took him to the location where he said he had his possessions. When I arrived I saw a man almost naked with blood all over him, yelling and screaming in the alley. My partner got lost on the way and I was in my own. I was dealing with this insane and emotionally traumatized person alone.”

This book takes a key Scripture verse found in Proverbs and equates it to real life situations. This book teaches that just because we see a situation in a certain light, or view our own lives a certain way, does not mean that it cannot change. This book teaches us that life can improve in spite of our perception. This key Scripture verse reinforces God’s wisdom and ever present help in time of need. Through understanding the wisdom of God, your spiritual being is conditioned to God’s standards, thus improving physically, mentally, and emotionally.
