This summer, their Los Angeles market contributed approximately 4300 new customers to their incredible record-breaking growth.
Alterra Pest Control started the year with a specific goal of attracting 50,000 new customers in 2012. By the end of the summer, Alterra had far exceeded any of their original growth projections. The uncharacteristically warm winter and spring led to increases in unwanted pests across the nation. California saw an increase in Argentine ants, black widow spiders and rodents.
Alterra correctly projected that the unseasonably warm temperatures would bring the potential for new clients, but they were also concerned about supporting that potential growth with progressive, environmentally responsible pest control, and in increasing the quality of their customer’s lives with every Alterra interaction. To achieve this goal, Chief Customer Officer Derrick Royce developed an extensive training program for all of its operations teams.
