This just in: 2008 BusinessWeek Top 25 Entrepreneur sets his sights on the Lost and Found world with LostAndFoundSpace.com. Ever lose an item or pet and need a place to go?
Lost and Found Space offers the public the ability to add a listing based on state and enter all of the relevant information including a photo. The site automatically adds it to a rotating scroll window and what you have is a really easy to watch lost and found classifieds. The founder was intrigued by Craigslist and its simplicity: "People want to go to a website and be entertained, one click at the most," says founder Brian Pedone.
The goal of the site is to start a new outlook on how people handle losing items. Rather than assume them gone forever, the site gives people the one last hope to possibly find something that money can't replace. Specifically for lost pets the site really offers something special and invaluable.
Lost and Found Space will hopefully find its way into the homes of many and also the areas of amusement parks, cab services, and other community arenas. Lost and Found Space hopes to be the answer to the outdated cardboard box labeled "Lost and Found."
