Inspired by the recent release of an article, The Top 10 Lowest Paid Actors in Hollywood, CelebrityBusinessAnalyst.com dissects the list and explores explanations of why some of these actors were included.

Celebrity Business Analyst has released an analysis on the top ten lowest paid celebrities currently working in Hollywood. On May 29th The Richest reported on these ten celebrities, leading C.B.A. to wonder why such great talent is considered underpaid when compared to other movie industry giants. Celebrity Business Analyst thinks its readers might be surprised to see which names are on the list.

Celebrity Business Analyst’s editor was quoted as being “shocked to see Johnny Depp listed as one of the ten lowest paid actors in Hollywood, especially since his films usually gross $100 million or more.” C.B.A knows Depp as a well-known actor who saw success with hits like Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. To C.B.A., $10 million, the sum Depp was paid to portray Captain Jack Sparrow, seems like a large amount of money. That number is put into perspective when C.B.A. considers the fact that Pirates of the Caribbean grossed over $300 million in the United States alone.

Robert Downey, Jr. is another name Celebrity Business Analyst was amazed to see on the list. C.B.A remembers that the actor went through a rough time in his personal life years ago where you mostly saw him on TMZ, and random replays on satellite tv, but now that he’s back, he’s better than ever. He’s reportedly grossing over $50 million each time he reprises his role of Iron Man.

CelebrityBusinessAnalyst.com thinks some of the actors on the list might be among the lowest paid because of their passion for acting. C.B.A. suspects that Robert Pattinson, for instance, takes roles based on his love of the project instead of pay. The role that jettisoned the actor’s career was that of Edward Cullen in Twilight. Box office stats show that the first film in the saga made over $190 million. Pattinson received just $2 million for his part in that film. The number grew proportionately with the increasing popularity of the franchise. His pay for the final two-part film was $12.5 million and 7% of the movie’s gross income.

Celebrity Business Analyst showed shock at some of the names that made the list of the lowest paid actors in Hollywood and gave reasons why the actors may make less than other big names in the industry.
