Shark Diving Trip and Other Great Prizes Up for Grabs to Promote Luke Tipple Appearance on MythBusters

Marine Biologist Luke Tipple is appearing on MythBuster's Shark Week Premier this Sunday July 27th at 9 PM EST/PST as their Shark Behaviour Specialist. Tipple's lead sponsors, Shark Diver, Ocean Reef Dive Gear, and Bathy's Hawaii Watches are giving viewers the chance to win over $5,000 in prizes to help support their rising star.

Whether he's running the deck of a boat or protecting our divers from Tiger sharks he's always in control and someone we trust integrally. Supporting him as he moves into television is just as exciting for us as it is for him and we can't wait to see what he has for us in the future.

Luke Tipple, Marine Biologist and Adventurer, is the subject of a unique promotion run by his sponsors Shark Diver, Ocean Reef and Bathys Hawaii.

The promotion, set to run throughout the Discovery Network's Shark Week in 2008, gives the lucky winners a chance to dive with Great White Sharks. The promotion requires you to watch the Mythbusters Special then log onto Luke Tipple's website to answer two questions about the show. Up for grabs is a five day Great White Shark diving adventure, an Ocean Reef full face dive mask and a Bathys Hawaii watch, around US$5000 in total.

Australian Luke Tipple arrived in the States in 2005 while pursuing his career researching and working with predatory sharks. He'd just completed a successful pilot study in Utila Honduras where he created ecotourism guidelines to protect the visiting Whale Sharks. Since then he's become a sought after safety consultant and educational personality in the wildlife film and television production industry.

This year Luke was recruited as the dive safety officer and shark behavior specialist on Discovery Shark Week's premier show Mythbusters. "From day one they were fantastic. Adam and Jamie are really easy to work with; they know what they want but are prepared to listen to advice. The rest of the crew were a solid team with a fantastic work ethic. It was a privilege to be part of this production." said Luke.
