Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) June 06, 2013
VMware and the VMware Technology Network recently announced their list of vExpert awardees for 2013, and Brad Maltz, Lumenate Virtualization Practice Manager, was on the list.
The 581 vExperts named to this year’s list of awardees is the largest group yet in the five-year history of the vExpert program. vExperts form an elite community of authorities and evangelists for virtualization and the cloud infrastructure, “I am honored to be named to the list of vExperts,” said Lumenate’s Brad Maltz. “The judges selected people who were particularly engaged with their community and who had developed a substantial personal platform of influence. There were a lot of very smart, very accomplished people who weren’t named as vExperts this year, so this is a great opportunity for Lumenate and our clients to successfully increase our community involvement.”
According to John Troyer and Corey Romero, representing the VMware Social Media and Community Team, “Each of these vExperts have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others. We are blown away by the passion and knowledge in this group, a group that is responsible for much of the virtualization evangelism that is taking place in the world — both publicly in books, blogs, online forums and VMUGs; and privately inside customers and VMware partners.”
