On Saturday, January 15, 2011 Lamborghini Club America will hold their annual Holiday Party at the San Francisco Zoo. The gala event will start at 3:00 pm for those who want to attend and participate in demonstration rides courtesy of Lamborghini San Francisco and Lamborghini Los Gatos.

“Coupled with our sponsorship we will supply the two of the latest creations from Lamborghini: the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera and the Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder,” said Mark Wolfe, Marketing Manager of British Motor Car Distributors, LTD. “Attendees will be able to test drive either or both Lamborghinis on a closed track in the zoo parking lot.”

The holiday party schedule includes staging for displays at approximately 2:30pm, demonstration rides and zoo tours from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, hors d’oeuvres from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, dinner from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, and presentations starting at 8:30 pm. The cost for hors d’oeuvres, dinner buffet, and corkage charges is $100 per person.

After all the excitement with the cars and the animals, partygoers will mingle and catch up with old friends over hors d’oeuvres before enjoying a sumptuous buffet dinner and speakers. Holiday dress or black tie is encouraged, and those participating in the demo rides or touring the zoo are advised to bring a comfortable pair of shoes or even a change of clothes. Dressing rooms are available.

For the discounted rate of $5 per person, partygoers can tour the Zoo, including the Grizzly Gulch, African Savanna, Gorilla Preserve, Lion House exhibits—or any of the more than 693 animals representing 197 species.
