Prussian Manor combines the positive aspects of both a private luxury villa rental and full hotel services and amenities.

Located between Rügen and Usedom in quiet Western Pomerania lies this Prussian country estate – now available to rent through Welcome Beyond, a website promoting only the most memorable vacation destinations worldwide.

Whereas many of the East German country estates had tragically fallen into despair after the Second World War, heritage-protected Prussian Manor has carefully been reconstructed with much attention to detail and turned into a stately vacation rental: “We tried to rebuild all of the important architectural elements where possible to uphold and reestablish the classic character. Now it again gives you the authentic feeling of a Prussian country estate from the 19th century.” owner Maximilian describes. The estate is renting out two villas: the 350 square meter “Manor House”, reflecting the grandeur of the 19th century with five en-suite rooms, and the “Coachman’s Cottage”, which offers three en-suite rooms providing more of a country cottage character.

The Manor also puts a lot of emphasis on gourmet services: the breakfast is an assortment of ecological and regional products, guests have access to the exclusive wine cellar and large kitchens are inviting them to cook to their heart’s desire (alternatively, a private chef can be organized, of course). “Prussian Manor combines the positive aspects of both a private luxury villa rental and full hotel services and amenities.” Maximilian ensures. A music session, a chauffeur or guided tours can be arranged upon request as well as weddings, birthdays or business events can be catered for.

“What makes the area so fascinating is that it’s completely off the beaten track.” states Maximilian. The Manor is surrounded by a park with many old trees and three beautiful gardens, a rose, a herb and a vegetable garden (where guests are naturally invited to sample). The surrounding landscape of Western Pomerania is characterized by protected reeded shores of the Peene River, lush meadows and small medieval villages with a multitude of historic castles and homesteads. Beneath hunting and fishing tours, guided tours to the islands, nature tours to one of the most eco-diverse rivers of Europe and cultural tours to nearby private manor houses are also on offer.
