Top-named celebrities got a firsthand look at Hedy Manon’s exclusive luxury doggy couture line for their pampered pets at Showtime’s prestigious, invitation-only 2006 Emmy Awards event at the Cooley Estate in Hancock Park this weekend.
“We are very excited to help celebrate the Emmy’s with Hollywood this week and are thrilled that the Hedy Manon cashmere, argyles and bowls are such a hit with today’s a-list celebrities,” said owner and creator, Hedy Woodrow. Event attendees such as Marcia Cross, Eric Roberts, Sophia Bush, Lisa Edelstein, Erik King, Joe Manganielo, Dawn Olivieri, Jonathan Silverman and his fiancée Jennifer Finnegan, Tomiko Fraser and Kate Mara visited with Hedy Manon’s popular shih tzu supermodel, “General,” who was recently featured in Elle Magazine, Hollywood Dog, NY Dog and Modern Dog.
Marcia Cross thought the cashmere sweaters were a “hoot,” while Eric Roberts and Lisa Edelstein indulged in a one-of-a-kind exclusive handmade Hedy Manon bowl dipped in 18K gold. Ace, the American Idol Season 5 Top 8 finalist who was recently voted “People Magazine’s Most Eligible Bachelors of 2006,” also loved the collection.
“The Hedy Manon luxury line has had an overwhelming response from coast to coast since our initial launch this year,” said Woodrow. “General has become an overnight sensation and celebrity, and he is enjoying all of the attention.”
This month, world-renowned pet expert Charlotte Reed, named the Hedy Manon collection as an integral part of the fashion trend for 2006. In addition, the collection received rave reviews at the first-ever New York Pet Fashion Week. New York Post writer Elizabeth Wolf highlighted the Hedy Manon cashmere line in an August article.
