Thank you to all of our guests and everyone at the Consol Energy Center for making the evening such a memorable event.

“I can’t believe I won! I can’t believe it,” says Richard Sallmen, New Castle Pennsylvania, winner of Lynn Swann’s #88 Steeler Jersey.

Everyone at Mr. Rooter’s VIP Pittsburgh Power party had a fantastic time! “I am having such a great time,” Bylon Hemskey said while watching the game. “I’ve had such a great time,” says Samantha-Kris Redmond, “when can we do this again?” Donna Welsh, winner of the jewelry by Taralena’s Jewels, traveled the farthest, coming from Volant Pennsylvania with her husband Gary. “I am having such a great time!”

By half-time everyone was anticipating the arrival of Lynn Swann, co-owner of the Pittsburgh Power, during the team’s last home game. Swann mingled with Mr. Rooter Plumbing’ s distinguished guests who won tickets to the game by participating in one of the most referred plumbers in the Southwestern Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio region’s “Caption The Photo” contest.

Sallmen, earlier during the game, was caught giving “high-fives” and “thumbs-up” gestures indicating that he would be the winner of that prized Steeler jersey, and remarkably, luck was on his side. “I just had this feeling that I would be the one to take that jersey home,” says Sallmen. The first thing he did was call his buddies to tell them the news.

Bob Beall, president of Mr. Rooter Plumbing Pittsburgh and Youngstown heard the news of the winner via phone due to business that took him out of town for the big event. “I really wish I could have been there to congratulate the winners,” said Beall. Ken Schwartz, general manager for the area’s plumbing franchise that serves 2.9 million residential and commercial customers attended the grand event on Beall’s behalf.

Joe Kijowski, manager of the Youngstown franchise which just celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony 6 weeks ago, brought his wife Gina and two sons, Christian, 12 and Carter, 7 to the game. Swann spent time talking with boys and autographed pictures for them.

The former Steeler says, “we are very excited to have Mr. Rooter Plumbing as one of our premiere sponsors for the Pittsburgh Power.” The Arena Football League promotes a fun, family oriented evening to enjoy the sport of football in a very unique venue.

Thank you to all of our guests and everyone at the Consol Energy Center for making the evening such a memorable event. Our guests included the above mentioned, as well as: Lee Stalker, Jodi Nagel, Joe Hemskey, Kelly Baldinger, Mark Loughran, Troy Nagel, Darin Assalone and Gladys McGinnis.
