The Madison Concourse Hotel Invests In Downtown Amidst Uncertain Economy
Convention Hotel in Madison completes $3.5 Million renovation, benefiting local economy and environment.
Madison, WI (PRWEB) March 12, 2009 -- The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club, the largest convention hotel in Madison, completed a $3.5 million renovation including new Governor's Club guest rooms and 27,000 square feet of updated meeting space during this uncertain economy.
The Madison Wisconsin hotel and conference center offers 28 meeting rooms, totaling 27,000 square feet of meeting space, which were refurbished with new carpeting and wall coverings. Enhanced technology was also added to enhance meeting amenities.
The hotel's exclusive Governor's Club guest rooms, located on the top three floors of the hotel, were completely renovated and now feature 42" flat screen TVs, granite top furniture, compact refrigerators and a bathroom with walk-in, marble showers. In addition, the Madison Wisconsin hotel implemented an energy efficient HVAC system that, along with their linen and towel conservation program, will preserve precious resources and reduce pollutants for years to come. The private Governor's Club lounge offers complimentary breakfast, top-shelf cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and desserts.

Last summer the hotel opened the new Dayton Street Grille. Located in the downtown Madison hotel, the Dayton Street Grille offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The evening menu features entrées paired with three signature sauces designed to create sweet, savory and spicy flavor combinations. The Bar will be renovated this spring.
