The Clerk of Courts office in Hopkins County upgraded both their office space and their storage space when relocating to a new building with the help of Datum.
Originally, 26 vertical files were used to store license plate registration cards for the entire county. The former building could not accommodate the ever expanding database and the files were forced into an old jail building as a result. Datum created a solution that addressed the office’s storage needs, providing them with organization and efficiency.
Datum’s Mail Master™ and Ez2® Rotary Action Files were utilized to create versatile and expandable storage in a limited amount of space.
The Mail Master™ sorting stations improved license plate organization, visibility, and accessibility. Modular in design, Datum's mail room furniture can be expanded or reconfigured easily as storage requirements change and its durable construction allows it to withstand high traffic levels.
The office’s 26 vertical files were replaced with seven 92” high Ez2® Rotary Action Files that utilize vertical storage while conserving valuable floor space. The Ez2® files feature multimedia drawers that organize the registration cards and make them easily accessible to staff.
“At Datum, we strive to make our products versatile and customizable so that they have many uses in multiple settings,” said Thomas Potter, President of Datum. “For the Hopkins County Clerk of Courts, our Mail Master™ product line was the perfect solution for storing their county’s license plates and registration cards.”
