A New Look for the Xephon Website

Popular mainframe magazine publisher, Xephon, Inc. launches new website.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 12, 2006 -- Longtime publisher Xephon, Inc., now operating under Thomas Communications Inc., noted publisher of z/Journal, launched its new website today. The new site revises and updates the aesthetic as well as introduces a brand new information management system to streamline visitor’s ease of use.

“The goal in developing the new site was to redesign the look and feel and, most importantly, build a new user interface to create a more pleasurable visitor experience,” said Colin Smith, General Manager at Xephon, Inc.

Current Xephon customers will quickly notice the changes that have been made. Users can now manage their own account information via the new ‘My Account’ link and the data is concisely presented to eliminate confusion. “The new web representation is very polished and indicative of where Xephon is headed,” Mr. Smith added.

In addition to the new web presence, Xephon has made another visitor-friendly change. The introduction of the new website signals the launch of a new free-trial subscription service for each of Xephon’s Update journals. Mr. Smith had this to say, “Ultimately, we want to get the Update journals in as many hands as possible. If more mainframe professionals have an opportunity to spend some time with one of the Updates they will be surprised to find out what they’ve been missing.”

To celebrate the website launch, the first 100 visitors subscribing to Xephon’s publications will receive 30% off of a twelve-month subscription using coupon code SUM2XX6.

Additionally, all registrants to the website before July 31, 2006 will be entered into a drawing to win one of two prize packages including a free subscription to any one of Xephon’s seven publications and an Apple iPod Nano or a digital camera. Total value: approx. $500-$700. For details or to participate, please visit http://www.xephonusa.com.
