When Failure Is Not An Option

Makefield Group adds tangible value in situations critical to the long-term success of our clients.

Makefield Group LLC today announced that it has commenced operations as a consulting firm dedicated to helping companies effectively manage the strategic, operational and technical challenges and opportunities involved in complex, mission-critical transactions such as mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, consolidations and creation of new lines of business. The company also helps established companies with internal re-engineering, cost-reduction and productivity initiatives, and assists start-up ventures with build-out of their operational and systems infrastructure.

Makefield Group provides senior corporate managers with external support and seasoned perspective based on the experience of the firm’s founding principals, who are well-respected professionals in business process improvement, manufacturing and operations, supply chain management and technology.

“What distinguishes Makefield Group,” according to firm principal Dana Cooper, “is our focus: we add tangible value in situations critical to the long-term success of our clients. Very often, this involves potentially disruptive events that most companies could not be expected to handle internally.” He noted that Makefield Group’s team has the objectivity, specialized skills and relevant business experience to design and manage sophisticated projects of this type, and is accountable to deliver a return on investment to clients.

Mr. Cooper said Makefield Group is already engaged by a number of clients, including an assignment to seamlessly and securely transfer all of the operational, ERP, financial and technology systems of a privately held drug manufacturing facility, following its divestiture from a global pharmaceutical company. “This type of complex, multi-discipline client assignment, where failure is not an option, is representative of the work at which we excel,” Cooper said.

In addition to Dana Cooper, Makefield Group’s senior management team consists of Dan Dotson and Andrew Layton, all of whom – in addition to their previous consulting firm roles for clients that included the U.S. State Department and Department of Defense – have held senior positions with companies such as Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Rodale Inc., Voxware, Charles Jones and Trilogy Market Technologies.

Makefield Group’s corporate headquarters are located at 115 Pheasant Run in Newtown, PA 18940. Additional information can be obtained at http://www.makefieldgroup.com , or by calling (267) 352-4440.
