Oliver Wight Americas, Inc., the global management consulting firm that developed S&OP (sales and operations planning), announces the designation of two simultaneous Class A awards to Henkel Mexicana AC Division for successful implementation and execution of a continuous improvement program.

The Oliver Wight Operational Excellence in Planning and Control Processes, based on the Fifth Edition Checklist, and the Oliver Wight Class A Milestone Award in Capable Planning and Control, based on the Sixth Edition Checklist for Business Excellence, were awarded to the company for its improvements realized from the "Proyecto Impacto" process in multiple Class A arenas, as defined by Oliver Wight's management consulting framework.

The Adhesives Division Board of Directors made the decision to launch a sustainable continuous improvement program, including sales and operations planning (S&OP / IBP), an initiative utilizing the Oliver Wight structured methodology, to improve business performance from an existing "Class D" level. By focusing on planning and control using the Checklist for Operational Excellence, Henkel Mexicana AC Division has improved its inventory record accuracy above the Class A threshold of 95%, and currently ranks customer on-time shipment performance above 98%. These efforts have become the foundation of their journey to sustainable high performance and profitability.
