Plateau Named a Leader in Enterprise Learning Management Suites by Independent Research Firm: Company Announces that it has Scored Talent Management Hat-Trick as the First and Only Talent Management Provider to be Rated a Leader in Learning, Performance, and Integrated Performance and Compensation

Plateau Systems, a leading provider of talent management software, content and services, today announced it was named a leader in the February 2008 "Forrester Wave: Enterprise Learning Management Suites, Q1 2008" report. In this evaluation, Plateau received the highest vendor score in the strategy category among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate. This report follows Forrester's recent recognition of Plateau as a leader in the performance solutions segment and the integrated performance and compensation management segment of the August 2007 "Forrester Wave(TM): Integrated Performance And Compensation Solutions, Q3 2007" report.

Forrester's report evaluated 12 leading learning management vendors - across 90 criteria - according to current offering, strategy and market presence. Plateau was awarded the top score in the Strategy category, receiving the highest possible score for Product Enhancement. According to the report, "Plateau plans to continue to build out its talent management suites, as well as to develop capabilities in Web 2.0 technologies." Forrester further states: "in our user reference checks, Plateau received the highest marks of all vendors for knowledgeable, honest, and supportive sales, implementation, and customer service teams."

According to Forrester, learning suites are "quickly becoming a critical component of an organization's talent management efforts." Forrester went on to note that "pure-play vendors like, Plateau Systems (along with 3 other vendors), have created or acquired performance management, succession planning, and compensation capabilities and have integrated these components into a talent management suite that complements the learning suite."
