'Effectively, what we are doing is giving the little guy the same advantage large scale users have had for years,' says Bart Fromuth, Managing Director of Resident Power.

The Town of Auburn, NH, has become a customer of Resident Power and can expect to save at least 5% on the supply portion of its electricity bill.
Manchester-based Resident Power is the first company to offer electricity aggregation services exclusively to small-end users in New Hampshire.
“Effectively, what we are doing is giving the little guy the same advantage large scale users have had for years,” says Bart Fromuth, Managing Director of Resident Power.
New Hampshire ratepayers have had the right to buy electricity at lower rates rather than from traditional utilities since deregulation occurred in the late 1990’s. Now they have the means through Resident Power.
“Resident Power groups many individual accounts together and goes out to bid for their electricity supply. We will not contract with a supplier unless we can guarantee every member of that group a savings of at least 5% compared to what they are paying now. Actual savings can reach 20%,” continues Fromuth.
Other municipalities served by Resident Power are the City of Franklin, the Town of Deerfield and the Town of Warner. Small business clients include the Ale House Inn, Poly Recovery, Red Oak Properties, USA Subs, Subway, Myles Travel Plaza, Boulos Properties and the Colebrook Chronicle.
Electricity users throughout the state are eligible to become Resident Power customers regardless of present utility. Learn more at residentpower.com, or call 603.232.9293.
