Like other laser whitening treatments, Pearlinbrite uses a laser to activate peroxides in the gel that is applied to the teeth, exciting oxygen to "attack" stains. This, combined with multiple carefully formulated laser-specific gels, increases the procedure's effectiveness, according to Dr. Linhart.
